About the Role:
We are looking to build a team of AI Recruiters to join our young team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an agile, remote-first team focused on sourcing and placing top-tier AI talent across industries such as technology, healthcare, finance, and e-commerce, etc.
You will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and connecting AI professionals with cutting-edge opportunities globally and connect them to different organisations across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified AI candidates, including AI engineers, data scientists, machine learning specialists, NLP experts, and more.
- Utilize sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and AI talent platforms to find top-tier candidates.
- Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess technical expertise, cultural fit, and candidate motivations using Codility, HackerRank, or TestGorilla.
- Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their AI talent needs and hiring priorities.
- Collaborate with the Substance international team to match candidates with the right opportunities.
- Stay updated on AI trends and roles to better understand client and candidate needs.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience from initial contact to offer negotiation.
What We’re Looking For:
Skills and Experience:
- Proven Recruitment Expertise: At least 1 year of experience in recruitment (agency or in-house), preferably with exposure to tech or AI roles.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with AI roles, tools, and skills such as machine learning, data science, Python, TensorFlow, and NLP frameworks (even if non-technical).
- Sourcing Excellence: Proficiency in sourcing candidates using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and talent networks like GitHub and Kaggle.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build rapport with candidates and clients and clearly articulate opportunities.
- Global Mindset: Experience working with international clients or candidates is a plus.
