The Role:
As a Senior Finance Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting and A/P teams, for tracking financial and regulatory filings, and for supervising advisor engagements. You will work cross-functionally with departments for budget planning and reviews, and you will own and manage relationships with service providers supporting key business functions. If you are a highly organized problem solver who is able to balance essential daily operations with high-impact special projects, this role will be a good fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee AP, operational accounting, and related processes
Maintain budgets and lead monthly reviews
Drive financial and regulatory filing initiatives (state and federal)
Supervise relationships with key service providers
Project manage advisor and vendor engagements
Work cross-functionally on critical operational projects
Improve and automate finance and ops processes
Lead finance and treasury reconciliations
Requirements & Qualifications:
3-5 years of finance experience in assurance, consulting, fintech or crypto
CPA and/or Public Accounting experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations
Ability to plan for accounting and tax implications of future operations and provide recommendations
Creative thinker with the ability to solve problems in ambiguous situations or with imperfect information
Outstanding organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good attitude
Ability to work independently and on a team, asynchronously
Proficient with ERP software, preferably NetSuite
Proficient with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and working with large data sets
Financial modeling experience a plus
SQL experience a plus
