SupplyHouse.com, an innovative e-commerce heating, plumbing, and HVAC supply company, is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Compensation Manager to join our Talent Management Team within our Human Resources Department! This individual will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation while actively contributing to our Talent Management initiatives.
This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin
This position will require travel to our NY office headquarters up to three times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.
A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.

Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET. However, we provide flexibility based on local time zones and our Flex-Time policy.
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 (Annually)
Responsibilities:
- Build and implement pay bands across the entire organization, ensuring fairness, equity, and competitiveness in compensation structures
- Lead salary benchmarking exercises and develop competitive salary ranges for various roles across the organization
- Bring thought leadership by designing and obtaining buy-in for company compensation philosophy that will scale with the company’s growth
- Partner with executive leadership to re-design and evolve our short-term incentive plans to drive employee performance and engagement
- Conduct regular analysis of compensation trends, market data, and industry best practices to ensure competitive compensation structures
- Evaluate company positions and create accurate job descriptions
- Assign jobs to the appropriate compensation structures and FLSA classifications, applying foundational knowledge of DOL and FLSA wage and hour regulations (e.g., minimum wage, overtime, pay transparency, exemption classifications)
- Help identify and configure HCM compensation architecture to support managers and employees in merit and incentive planning
- Create, implement, and maintain job leveling guides to streamline career progression and internal equity
- Provide advice on job design and organizational structure as it relates to job evaluation
- Provide expertise and guidance to Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams as well as leadership on compensation-related matters
- Ensure full compliance with state and federal wage related laws
- Monitor, identify, and implement new legal requirements such as pay transparency, reporting, or new wage laws
- Contribute to Talent Management initiatives such as performance management, talent development, and organizational design
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years of experience in a compensation-focused role (experience designing and implementing compensation programs is a plus)
- Strong project management and process design experience
- Expertise in compensation module of one or more HCM, with hands-on experience in configuring and administering base and incentive compensation plans
- Experience in implementing pay bands/ranges and developing job leveling guides is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of compensation practices and market trends, experience with one or more compensation benchmarking platform(s)
- Proficiency in MS Suite, especially MS Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Experience in talent management, performance management, or related Human Resource functions (is a plus)
