Position Overview:


As a Senior Design Lead at Teleport, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s visual identity and translating complex technical concepts into compelling visuals. You will collaborate with marketing team members to deliver creatives that align with our technical and brand standards. Success in this role is rooted in creativity, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects and external vendors effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to deliver creatives that align with our technical and brand standards.
  • Create, manage, and produce digital design solutions for a variety of mediums including, but not limited to, social media assets, conference banners, emails, landing pages, websites, and sales materials.
  • Build visual diagrams illustrating key products and processes, for web and print mediums.
  • Manage agencies and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with website developers to implement static and interactive illustrations, page layouts, and design elements.
  • Create a design system that allows developers to reuse design components following guidelines and rules that you and the UX team create.
  • Design layout, and/or format engaging, attractive marketing and sales collateral, such as one-sheets, guides, decks, ads, landing pages, and conference swag.


Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Certifications or additional courses in UX/UI design, web design, or cybersecurity principles can be a plus.5+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally with some time spent in the technology or cybersecurity industry.A strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work, including digital and print materials.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), web design tools like Figma and Sketch, and project management tools like Notion and Asana.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies.
  • Experience with creating visual content for different digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
  • Strong sense of typography, color theory, layout, visual hierarchy, branding, and visual identity.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with marketing, product, and technical teams.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and use data and feedback to refine and improve design solutions.


Reporting Strructure:
  • This position will report to the Sr. Mgr, Digital & Web.
  • No direct reports are expected.

$93,000 - $140,000 a year
The base salary range for new hires in this role is between $93,000 and $110,00 for a level 3. The base salary range for new hires in this role is between $119,000 and $140,000 for a level 4 . The salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
