Role: Paid Media Marketing Manager
Location: This role will be remote in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii

Summary:
The Paid Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating all Paid Media campaigns, including facilitating content/copy creation, review, and delivery between internal partners & external agencies as appropriate. The Paid Media Marketing Manager will ensure that all Paid Media campaigns are launched on schedule and in accordance with the overall marketing strategy.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will oversee and manage The Trevor Project’s paid media buys and partner on paid media strategy under the oversight of the Director of Marketing, including but not limited to leading partner calls with our marketing agency, managing content edits via a task management platform, analysis of monthly reporting, and quarterly strategy planning. The Paid Media Marketing Manager will regularly collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to determine and understand organizational priorities and needs and how the paid media program can best serve their departmental messaging where applicable. In partnership with the agency and our internal Marketing team, the Paid Media Marketing Manager will oversee execution and optimization of multiple paid media marketing initiatives at once, focused on a wide range of objectives and audiences (e.g., cause marketing; conversion-based marketing, etc). This is an ideal role for a highly strategic, outcome-oriented digital marketing professional passionate about serving LGBTQ+ young people.
- Contribute to our critical mission of ending suicide among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning young people, while fostering an inclusive approach to your direct work and engagement with Trevor colleagues across the organization.
- Continually grow your LGBTQ+ competency and awareness.
- Manage and facilitate structure of paid media strategy, planning, and deployment for The Trevor Project’s paid media initiatives. Work closely with agency partners and internal teams to develop paid media content and facilitate program launches.
- Serve as an internal expert in regards to paid media marketing, and work collaboratively with key organizational stakeholders to develop paid media strategies and tactics tied to organizational priorities across all of The Trevor Project’s program pillars, including crisis services, advocacy, research, education, and others where applicable.
- Lead determination of paid media marketing KPIs, and oversee strategy implementation, project management, tracking, measurement, monthly reporting, and debriefs in partnership with agency partners.

- You have 2 to 4 years of proven experience managing paid media programs for large brands and/or organizations and have the skillset to analyze paid media metrics and make optimization suggestions based on data. Experience in managing paid media campaigns for nonprofit/not-for-profit organizations is a plus but not required.
- Recognized success in creating relationships with cross-functional teams from varying levels, working closely with colleagues to brainstorm ideas, discuss pros/cons, and develop ways forward. Experienced in fostering an environment where different opinions and approaches can be entertained, considered, and appreciated while working as a team to find a solution.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in written and oral forms to audiences inside and outside of the organization. Proven skill in distilling complex information into compelling, easily digestible narratives; presents information in an inspiring and persuasive way.

- Proven organizational, time, and task management skills and prioritization skills, including results delivery maintained through use of an editorial calendar for planning content in an organized manner.
- Demonstrated ability in generating ideas to solve problems, balancing innovation with process and efficiency.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
