Role: People Operations Generalist
Reports to: Senior Director, People Operations

Summary:
This role will ensure the successful implementation and execution of processes and technologies in support of all People-related functions for The Trevor Project. This role will focus on outstanding service delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement of our systems and services.
- Manage HRIS systems, ensuring that the functions at all stages of the employee life cycle are functioning correctly, are compliant, and accurate
- Support weekly data maintenance of all People-related systems, including data uploads and updates
- Maintain People team vertical dashboards, including operations, talent acquisition and DEIB metrics
- Work cross-functionally within the People team to support recruitment, operations, benefits, engagement, employee relations, and payroll (Finance)
- Support new employee onboarding and orientation sessions
- Manage annual and quarterly audit of employee files for completeness and accuracy
- Maintain and update annual People Team intranet and Google Drive content to ensure process tools and job aids are current and aligned with internal processes
- Support effective change management activities related to People team systems and processes
- Respond to staff inquiries utilizing internal CRM tool, identify themes, and flag risks
- Collaborate cross-functionally with department leaders within the People, Finance, Legal, and IT & Security teams to ensure data for reporting is accurate and applicable
- Establish and maintain system integrations and data between the HRIS and People operations platforms
- Manage system access through role-based security and access provisioning, and audit user access to systems
- Support, document, and update operating processes
- Other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Proven successful, relevant experience in an HR Generalist role
- Knowledge of HR regulations, compliance, and best practices
- Relevant experience in benefits, employee relations, and/or HR technology
- Experience solving different types of problems related to the HR field
- Experience with policy and handbook management
- Experience managing HRIS and payroll in tools like ADP, Rippling, Justworks, etc.
- Proficiency in using tech platforms such as Lever, Google Suite, & Culture Amp
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
- Demonstrated ability to work, communicate, and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Demonstrated successful planning and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to multitask and work well within timelines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
