We have an opportunity for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in a long-term contract role. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and backend solutions within a large enterprise organization. Key Responsibilities
- Design, set up, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, including clusters, namespaces, networks, and IP management.
- Support the development and optimization of internal tools, improving developer onboarding and automating workflows.
- Contribute to backend automation, CI/CD pipelines, and other tools that enhance productivity and reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges efficiently and support key project deliverables.
- Provide expertise in GCP deployments and ensure smooth migration processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with GCP services, Kubernetes deployments, Terraform configurations, and other cloud-based technologies.
- Create and maintain documentation for best practices, troubleshooting procedures, and internal training.
- Collaborate with team leads to align infrastructure strategies with overall project goals.
- 3-5 years of hands-on professional experience in a Cloud, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering role.
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including deployment and management of resources.
- Expertise with Kubernetes: Proven experience in deploying, managing, and maintaining clusters in production environments.
- Expertise with Terraform: Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code practices, including designing and managing scalable infrastructure with Terraform.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions or similar.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including setting up networks, IPs, and namespaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice-to-Have
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) certification (e.g., Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Google Certified Professional Cloud Developer).
