What We Do
Thoropass combines simple software with expert guidance to help SaaS companies manage security compliance, security audits, and enterprise procurement security diligence. Thoropass helps companies adopt stage-appropriate compliance practices that enterprises can trust and reduce the time and costs of security audits by 50% or more.
We are a rapidly expanding team based in New York. We were founded in May 2019 and raised our Series C funding in November 2022. Our top investors include J.P. Morgan, PayPal Ventures, Fin Capital, Centana, and Bain Capital. We're growing customers and revenue dramatically, and we’re poised for continued break-out growth in 2023 and beyond.
About the job
We are looking for a Senior Manager, InfoSec Assurance to help us build a high-performing, mission-driven team as Laika enters a period of explosive growth. This is an important role at a formative time in Laika’s evolution – the Senior Manager, InfoSec Assurance will help solidify Laika’s mission of creating the first ever end to end compliance platform.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with customers to verify security controls based on sought after information security frameworks
- Translate security and compliance requirements into actionable tasks for team members to execute
- Help build internal processes and infrastructure for scaling of new offerings
- Test and review implemented controls based on established security and privacy frameworks
- Propose novel ideas for product features and ops improvements or opportunities for automation to empower better customer experience with Products
- Inform product roadmap proposals with data, including direct product feedback from customers and calls with customers
- Lead and supervise teams performing information security audits
- Develop onboarding and training programs to ramp new hires within 2 weeks
- Most importantly: help Laika reimagine the information security audit experience
About You
- You are a seasoned yet nimble people leader with a proven ability to execute, build scalable processes and systems at an early-stage, high-growth company
- You enjoy researching and understanding the competitive market, employee motivation, and cultivating an awesome work environment
- You have deep expertise and a passion for information security frameworks
- You understand the inefficiencies of information security audits and are fueled by creating a better experience for our customers
Knowledge Skillsets / Knowledge Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive IT audit or consulting experience
- Proven ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible and adaptable
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Team-oriented with an ability to work well independently
- You have experience working with security frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, etc.)
Your Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000, which will be commensurate with experience
