As TLDR’s first content marketer, you will be at the forefront of turning TLDR into a household name among performance marketers and paid advertisers.
You will build out our content engine with LinkedIn as the primary channel, and relevant content being repurposed for blog and email marketing channels.
The goal of the position is to make TLDR the third channel every advertiser considers in their strategy following paid search and paid social.

What you'll do:
Writing thought provoking LinkedIn posts that position TLDR as a paid search and social competitor and as experts in the tech advertising space, this would include:
Original research - As one of the largest tech publications in the world, we have thousands of data points that can be turned into valuable insights for marketers to learn from
Conversation starters - In general, over 90% of paid marketing budget goes towards paid search and social. We need to educate marketers on how to reach their audiences beyond these channels.
Case studies - Highlight early adopters of newsletter advertising and their success with TLDR
Collaborate with the Head of Demand Generation, Sales and Customer Success teams to understand and prioritize content based on current trends and customer feedback
Optimize content for social and/or SEO
In-depth research into current trends in paid advertising and marketing in general
You're a great fit if you have:
3+ years of hands-on content experience and a deep understanding of LinkedIn content marketing
Deep understanding of performance marketing/demand generation marketing/paid advertising
Strong organizational skills and ability to stay on top of your content calendar
Are able to generate creative content ideas, do original research, and create content that marketers love
Demonstrated ability to operate in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced collaborative startup environment
Experience repurposing content across multiple mediums (LinkedIn, blog, email marketing, Twitter, etc.)

Hours & Status
This is a fractional position, 15-20 hours per week within North American timezones.
TLDR prides itself in our relationships to our fractional contributors.
As an extension of the full-time team, you'll be equipped with the software you need to be successful within our operations tech stack.
