What you’ll do:
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in serving our customer engineering teams while contributing to the strategic direction and evolution of our cloud infrastructure and automation practices. Your responsibilities will revolve around managing foundational infrastructure components such as cloud governance, network & DNS, compute runtimes, container ecosystem, internal tools, and more. Your work will focus on ensuring the maintainability, security, and scalability of our cloud environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud technology and shape the future of our infrastructure landscape. Candidates should be highly collaborative, adaptable, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
\n- Implement and maintain AWS Organizations governance, focusing on security, permissions, and rules
- Develop and execute AWS multi-account strategies, including cross-account networking & DNS, AWS API permissioning, and user management
- Solution CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Address evolving needs within our container ecosystem, including patching base images and interfacing with CI/CD and other automation pipelines
- Identify and formalize new infrastructural patterns for adoption by engineering teams
- Demonstrated high level of social competence akin to that of a consultant
- Understanding of the importance of shifting-left methodologies in a rapidly growing company
- 6+ years of experience in direct and/or complementary roles such as System Administrator, Platform/Tools/Backend Engineer
- Moderate-to-high level of proficiency in scripting and/or application programming
- Moderate-to-high level of proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) programming and automation
- Preferred experience with:
- AWS Organizations and related features
- AWS-related networking concepts
- AWS cross-account access patterns
- Container primitives within AWS
- GitHub Actions
- Terraform
The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $135K - $145K USD, with the base salary amount dependent on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s credentials, relevant experience, and primary job location. In addition to salary this role will be eligible for additional company benefits such as stock options, 401(k), paid vacation and sick time, and medical/dental/vision insurance.
