About the role
We're looking to add a seasoned Director of Content Marketing to our marketing team to help fuel our next stage of growth. Creating compelling content is at the heart of our pipeline strategy and is critical to building brand awareness, engaging prospects, and converting them into paying customers. In this role, you will have autonomy to shape and deliver on our full funnel content marketing strategy across multiple audiences.
You will
Develop, execute, and iterate on a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals and target audience.
Create high-quality engaging content that addresses the needs of our B2B audiences across different content formats including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks, video, and audio.
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, external writers, and designers to create compelling content and thought leadership.
Implement SEO best practices to improve the visibility and ranking of our content in search engines.
Develop and execute distribution plans to ensure content reaches our target audience through various channels, including email, social media, and paid advertising.
Lead and mentor a team of content creators, providing guidance and support to achieve content marketing goals.
You have
8+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, preferably in the SaaS industry.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing strategies.
Exceptional advanced writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Strong understanding of SEO and content optimization techniques.
Experience with content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools and Generative AI tools.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Direct leadership and management experience with the experience to communicate effectively with internal and external business leaders and buyer personas.
Analytical mindset with the ability to measure, interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
