As part of the growing Finance Team at Trility, the Staff Accountant will work closely with our Vice President of Finance:
\n- Prepare accounts receivable invoices for clients and reconcile billable hours to ensure all revenue is captured.
- Process accounts payable invoices using a third-party payables platform, import bill and payment transactions into our accounting software, and reconcile contractor expenses between systems.
- Assist with month-end financial close processes, including, but not limited to, revenue recognition and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Book journal entries.
- Audit expense reports.
- Assist with time entry review to ensure accurate costing and billing to projects.
- Prepare standard monthly reports to support business operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and leverage the functionality of the accounting platform.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of core financial areas, including GAAP accounting rules, standards, and procedures.
- Either majoring in accounting or having at least two years of accounting work experience.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement abilities.
- Organized self-starter with excellent time management skills.
