We're looking for a talented and passionate engineer to work on our platform and products. You'll work with our team of engineers to build, improve, maintain and grow our native mobile applications.

- Spreaker Podcasts for iOS (Spreaker Podcasts )
- Spreaker Podcasts for Android (Spreaker Podcasts - Apps on Google Play )
- A small and experiment-based backend for Spreaker apps.
You'll be asked to organize your time, plan your work, and be a team player. We expect you to take ownership of the products you build, and that means:
- You're responsible for the operational health of these products. The work is not done just because the code is merged to master.
- You're empowered and encouraged to fix operational issues and make sure the codebase and the products evolve as the industry moves forward.
What boxes do you need to tick to apply for this position?
These are the essentials:
- You are fluent in English (both verbal and written) - English is the primary business language for our global team.
- You have Residency in Spain or Italy
- You have proven, long-term experience in building iOS native applications with Swift
- You are familiar with build automation, TDD, and continuous integration
- You are familiar with most common Apple frameworks and API, such as SwiftUI, UIKit, CoreData and others.
- You know how to deal with REST API
This will get you some bonus points:
- You are familiar with SQL databases, such as Core Data or SQLite
- You are familiar with fastlane
- You are familiar with audio processing with AVFoundation
- You are familiar with Android SDK (Kotlin & Jetpack Compose)
