Our client is a healthcare technology company, specializing in patient engagement solutions.
Job Summary
Be a foundational member of their newly formed front-end team, playing a pivotal role in modernizing their platform and building a world-class user experience for their healthcare customers. You'll have the opportunity to shape the architecture and implementation of our new front-end, working on challenging problems in a complex and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and implement highly performant, scalable, and maintainable
front-end applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
Collaborate closely with UI/UX Designers and Product Managers to translate
designs and requirements into intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
Lead the development of reusable UI components and establish front-end
development best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.
Take ownership of maintaining, expanding, and scaling our front-end web
applications, ensuring code quality and adherence to established standards.
Proactively stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry
trends, and share your knowledge with the team.
Actively participate in technical and architectural discussions, contributing
valuable insights and helping to shape our technology roadmap.
Troubleshoot and debug complex front-end issues and performance bottlenecks.
Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the
quality and reliability of our front-end code.
Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
Required: 6+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
Required: 3+ years of current, in-depth experience with JavaScript and
TypeScript.
Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically
React AND/OR Vue.js (experience with both is a significant plus).
Expertise in CSS and styling libraries/frameworks such as Ant Design,
Styled Components, or Material UI.
Solid understanding and practical experience with state management
frameworks like Redux, Zustand, or Vuex.
Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma and Sketch.
Proven experience with front-end testing libraries such as Cypress,
React Testing Library, Jest, and Playwright.
Deep understanding of RESTful API consumption and integration.
Experience with version control systems (Git/Github).
Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
