Tsunami Tsolutions is seeking a motivated Aviation Analytics Engineer. We are a small business that supports a number of Aviation and Defense customers. We aim to create a positive collaborative work environment that allows our team to thrive both personally and professionally.This role aims to combine the candidates engineering experience with Tsunami’s analytics capabilities to provide our customers with high value support and consulting. The ideal candidate would have experience in Aircraft or Powerplant design or maintenance and an aptitude for understanding and manipulating data.This role is often customer facing, and involves working as part of a team that may include direct customer participation. This requires strong communication and team skills.
Responsibilities:
Create processes control tools by collecting and understanding data from multiple sources. Experience in Aviation a plus.Research, build, implement and evaluate various solutions in parts manufacturing or repair.Working with stakeholders to validate, interpret and provide business insights with visual based reportingWork with team members to deploy solutions across the organization. Leadership with customer solutions a plus.Reporting periodic progress on projects, including tracking usage and value derived from the process
Position Requirements:
B.S degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering, or Computer Science preferredExperience building engineering tools using code (ANSYS, NX, Matlab, National Instruments) a plusExperience in understanding and controlling complex processes.Experience in programming including Python, R and SQL a plusAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with competency in vlookups, pivot tables, etc.Ability to learn new concepts quickly and translate them into practical applicationsAbility to effectively communicate findings to non-technical audiences
