About the job

As an Event Coordinator at Twilio, you will support our diverse event portfolio, including both first-party and third-party events. This entry-level position is ideal for someone early in their career, looking to gain experience in event management and marketing. You will assist with the measurement and reporting of event outcomes and support the execution of event-related campaigns.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Event Measurement and Reporting: Assist in collecting data and preparing reports on event performance metrics, helping to analyze the effectiveness of each event. Salesforce knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Campaign Support: Work closely with the marketing team to coordinate and execute event-related marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with Twilio’s overall marketing strategy. Build email and digital marketing for event promotion and post-event nurture campaigns, including writing emails and ad copy, creating assets, and building target audiences.
  • Event Logistics Support: Provide logistical support for various events, including registration management, setup, and coordination of event materials.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operation and successful execution of events.
  • Sales Enablement: Build tools and communications that enable sales team to invite customers to and promote events. Align with sales enablement team members on company-wide messaging to sales through presentations and communications.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks related to event management, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and maintaining records.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
  • Strong interest in event management and marketing with a desire to learn and grow in this field.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with event management software.

Desired:

  • Digital marketing campaign experience
  • Email marketing experience
  • Software experience in: Canva, Salesforce, Tableau
  • Provide 1-2 writing samples that demonstrate an ability to distill complex information

Location

This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

Travel

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $69,600 - $87,000.

  • Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $73,760 - $92,200.

  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
