About the Role
Our client is seeking an illustrator for a project involving the republishing of a children's book. The project requires correcting and fine-tuning existing illustrations from the initial publication. This is a single job opportunity with potential for follow-up work, and the illustrator will need to work remotely for approximately one to two days. The project has a sense of urgency and requires completion as soon as possible. The desired illustration style is already established within the initial illustrations that need corrections.
Responsibilities:
- Review and understand the existing illustrations for the children's book
- Make necessary corrections and fine-tune the illustrations based on the writer's feedback
- Maintain consistency with the established illustration style and overall visual aesthetic
- Collaborate closely with the writer to ensure the illustrations align with the book's narrative and vision
- Beginner-level experience in children's book illustration or a related field
- Proficiency in digital illustration software
- Strong drawing and coloring skills suitable for children's book illustrations
- Ability to accurately replicate and maintain an existing illustration style
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
