About the Role
Our client, a UK-based UX/UI design consultancy is seeking a skilled mid-level UI designer for a part-time contract position. The designer will support two ongoing UX projects for tech start-ups in the UK. This week-long engagement primarily involves remote work, with a focus on website and app design. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate with the existing design team and align their style with the company's established aesthetic.
Responsibilities
- Create visually appealing and functional UI designs for websites and mobile applications
- Collaborate with the in-house UX/UI design team on two tech start-up projects
- Utilize Figma to develop and iterate on design concepts
- Ensure design consistency across various platforms and devices
- Incorporate user-centered design principles into all work
- Proven experience as a mid-level UI designer, particularly in tech-related projects
- Advanced proficiency in Figma
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI design skills for websites and mobile apps
- Ability to align designs with the company's existing style (as showcased on their website)
- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
