About the Role
A financial technology company is seeking a talented Junior Concept Illustrator to join their creative team on a part-time, contractual basis. The ideal candidate will work remotely to create innovative visual concepts that will serve as the foundation for the company's 3D artist to render. This role is perfect for an up-and-coming illustrator who excels at conceptualising ideas in three dimensions and can adhere to established brand guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Create concept illustrations that can be effectively translated into 3D renderings
- Develop visual ideas that align with the company's brand identity and guidelines
- Collaborate remotely with the 3D artist to ensure smooth translation of concepts
- Generate multiple design options for each project as needed
- Interpret and visualise abstract financial concepts in an engaging manner
- Adapt illustrations based on feedback from the creative team
- Portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual skills and 3D-inspired illustrations
- Ability to think and illustrate in three dimensions
- Proficiency in digital illustration software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Understanding of how 2D concepts translate to 3D renderings
- Familiarity with financial technology concepts is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
