Purpose: The purpose of the role is to provide expertise in using SAP Analytics Tools (primarily SAP SAC Reporting) for TwiningsOvo. The role will cover supporting of existing solutions/reports, new reporting requirements and providing best practices for ongoing implementation phases.
We are seeking a skilled SAP SAC Reporting Lead Developer to join our team. The qualified candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP Analytics Cloud reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of business intelligence and reporting processes, combined with good analytical and problem-solving and people management skills.
Scope: The SAP SAC Reporting Lead Developer, is someone with hands-on experience of working within large SAP projects, including both implementation and support. Their responsibilities include ensuring SAP SAC Reporting related incidents and new requirements are developed and delivered effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP SAC reporting solutions to meet business requirements.
- Develop and configure SAC models, stories, and visualizations.
- Integrate data from various sources into SAP SAC.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in SAC.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Monitor and optimize SAC reporting performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and report performance issues.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on SAC functionalities.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAC solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for SAC implementations.
- Support SAC system maintenance and upgrades.
- Provide technical support to Junior SAC developers.
- Manage SAC Reporting support team and align BAU activities with project implementation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
- 8-15 years’ experience in building reports in various tools with functional experience in SAC Reporting
- Experience in operating in complex environments including implementation of SAP SAC Reporting solutions.
- Understanding of SAP modules and SAC functionalities, including data modelling, reporting, and analytics.
- Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools.
- Communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work both individually and collaboratively in a collaborative environment.
- Relevant SAP certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience of working in continuous delivery (Kanban/support) and new initiatives (Sprint).
- Ability to document and communicate progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed.
