RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain scalable systems using Ruby on Rails, Postgres, and Elasticsearch.
Optimize performance and troubleshoot complex issues across the application.
Design, develop, and maintain GraphQL APIs to support a React frontend.
Integrate with various third-party APIs, ensuring reliability and security.
Ensure code quality through comprehensive unit tests, code reviews, and best practices.
Drive improvements in application performance, security, and scalability.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical:
Proficiency with Ruby on Rails, including performance tuning and debugging.
Proficiency with Postgres and Elasticsearch.
Strong experience with GraphQL API design and implementation.
Solid understanding of background processing with Sidekiq or similar tools.
Familiarity with integrating and managing third-party APIs.
Cultural Fit / Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent collaboration and communication skills (proactive communication)
NICE-TO-HAVE
Experience in data modeling, data cleaning, and machine learning (nice to have).
Familiarity with web scraping techniques and tools (nice to have).
