Umbrella Fund is looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Amazon Supply Chain Department. This is a remote/work-from-home position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to lead and optimize our supply chain operations on the Amazon platform.
As the Head of Amazon Supply Chain Department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and effective logistics coordination on the Amazon platform. You will lead a team of supply chain professionals to execute these strategies and ensure smooth operations of all aspects of supply chain including inventory planning, demand forecasting, order processing, and logistics.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and a deep understanding of e-commerce logistics. You will have a proven track record in managing and optimizing supply chain operations, specifically on the Amazon platform. Strong leadership and management skills are essential, as you will be leading a team and collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment are also important.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and effective logistics coordination on the Amazon platform
- Lead and manage the Amazon Supply Chain Department, including inventory planning, demand forecasting, order processing, and logistics
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize supply chain operations and improve efficiency
- Analyze supply chain data, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance
- Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms to ensure timely and cost-effective product procurement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce logistics and supply chain management
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Monitor and optimize key performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded
