Upwork has partnered with a leading global data engineering company that delivers AI-driven solutions to some of the world’s most prestigious companies. They provide AI-enabled software platforms and managed services for AI data collection/annotation, AI digital transformation, and industry-specific business processes.

They are seeking a native Italian speaker to undertake a variety of tasks including translation, review, prompt engineering, prompt review, data annotation, and labeling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation and Rewriting:
  • Develop original content and rewrite existing material structured as dialogues based on predetermined topics.
  • Rewrite conversation subjects according to project guidelines and specific rewrite requests.
• Prompt Writing and Review:
  • Write prompts and responses in Italian on topics such as sports, health, food, technology, fashion, video games, literature, music, and more.
  • Assess the quality and relevance of prompts and their corresponding responses, ensuring they meet predefined criteria and objectives.
• Translation and Review:
  • Translate content from English to Italian while maintaining accuracy, fluency, and cultural nuances.
  • Review translated content generated by different Language Model Models (LLMs), comparing their quality against defined criteria, and providing detailed feedback and assessments.
• Data Annotation and Labeling:
  • Label services related to current events, pop culture, sports, and social media.

• Native proficiency in Italian with a strong command of the English language.
• Excellent written communication skills in Italian.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must own a laptop with a secure and reliable internet connection.
• Experience in translations, translation review, data annotation, and/or prompt engineering is a plus.
• A degree in English, Italian, Journalism, or related fields is advantageous.
