We are seeking a bright, dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how clients adopt and maximize use of our products. In this role, you'll combine your technical expertise with sales acumen to create tailored solutions, ensuring smooth product demonstrations, onboarding, and long-term client success.
Day-to-day, you’ll be working closely with prospects alongside our Sales leader, configuring demo environments, developing custom solutions, and contributing to Vantage’s roadmap as a technical expert and customer advocate. Key Responsibilities:
Technical Solution Design & Demo Setup:
Configure, customize, and maintain demo environments to simulate real-world scenarios for prospects and clients.
Use your coding and scripting skills (preferably Python/React) to develop and showcase tailored solutions that align with client needs.
Software Demonstrations:
Act as Vantage’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) during technical demonstrations and discovery sessions.
Answer detailed technical questions, understand client challenges, and provide actionable feedback to the Product team.
Technical Discovery:
Partner with Sales to conduct technical discovery with prospects, identifying their current infrastructure, pain points, and business goals.
Help assess client-Vantage fit by evaluating technical requirements.
Solution Design & Architecture:
Collaborate to design tailored solutions that minimize custom work, maximize existing capabilities, and ensure efficient and effective onboarding for new clients and upsells of existing clients.
Technical Support for Sales:
Assist in crafting compelling technical presentations and responding to RFPs.
Seamless Account Launch:
From initial technical discovery to full account activation, you’ll ensure a smooth and successful onboarding process, including scoping for any necessary API configurations, custom coding, and third-party integrations.
Training & Documentation:
As needed, provide training to client teams and internal stakeholders. Document technical processes and solutions for future reference.
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python/React preferred. You should have the ability to configure demo environments and build lightly tailored solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred, but not required
Retail Media & AdTech Knowledge: Strong understanding of the retail media ecosystem, including demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), and programmatic advertising workflows.
Client-Facing Experience: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Solutions Design: Experience designing and implementing technical solutions, preferably in SaaS, AdTech, or Retail Media platforms.
Project Management: Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously, from discovery through deployment.
Sales Support: Experience collaborating with sales teams to build compelling demos, respond to RFPs, and showcase the business value of technical solutions.
Problem Solver: Resourceful and creative when tackling technical challenges, always focused on finding the best solution for the client.
Collaborative Spirit: Enthusiastic about working in a team-oriented environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
