About the Role

Veho is seeking a dedicated People Operations Coordinator to join our People team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving employee relations issues, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of HR & People Team best practices, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances for multiple operational facilities.

  • Conduct thorough investigations, both in person and virtual, into employee complaints and incidents, documenting findings and making recommendations for resolution.

  • Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Collaborate with the Veho People team to develop and deliver training programs on topics such as conflict resolution, workplace harassment, and performance management.

  • Assist in the development and revision of Veho People policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations issues and investigations.

  • Prepare reports and presentations on employee relations trends and metrics for senior management.

  • Workers Compensation & Claims handling experience (a plus) 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role, preferably in a logistics or related industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.).

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred

  • Logistics, Warehouse, or Retail experience (a Plus) 

  • May require travel to warehouse locations up to 25% of the time
