We are seeking a motivated and talented Director, Human Resources to lead our Human Resources function across the enterprise. The HR Director will collaborate closely with the operational team to align workforce strategies with business goals, ensuring optimal staffing, employee development, and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Director, Human Resources will be instrumental in continuing to build our people-focused culture through partnership and collaboration with our Human Resources and Operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead with empathy, strong communication, and a people-focused approach to achieve successful results across the company.
- Support and shape the company’s people-focused culture by promoting inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration by reinforcing positive workplace values and encouraging teamwork.
- Provides strategic direction and oversight for the company’s policies, staying current on ever changing state-specific policies as it relates to compliance and equal employment.
- In addition to staying on top of HR best practices, engage with our employees to identify opportunities to continuously improve our people focused culture and career development opportunities. Identify needs across the organization, present solutions, and develop programs in response.
- Work strategically with operational leadership and COO on succession planning, long-term talent goals/gaps and implement plans to address sustainable results for growth.
- Provide guidance, leadership, and support to HR Area Leaders on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Effectively mentor Area HR Leaders to help develop and grow their skills. This includes coaching through advanced employee relations issues, creating a team known for developing people in the business and one that is highly responsive and known for doing what we say we will do.
- Partners collaboratively with peers on the Human Resources Leadership Team (HRLT) to champion a best-in-class HR organization.
- Conduct research, analyze organizational trends and execute best practices related to employee survey results and employee turnover.
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and drive improvements in HR processes and employee engagement.
- Lead annual HR processes and ensure communication is clear, concise, and consistent.
- Support the integration team and integrating company during transition period.
- Lead the adoption of HR technology to create efficiencies and data integrity while leveraging AI to simplify work and processes to reduce administrative burden.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related field of study.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Human Resources leadership as a manager and/or Business Partner with three (3) of those years involving strategic planning, oversight & analysis and development and roll out of programs.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience effectively managing and supervising direct reports.
- Demonstrated change management experience through effective strategy, communication, and execution.
- Must have exceptional communication, presentation, time and project management, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Strong technical skills in using Microsoft Office environment. Intermediate to advanced use of excel, power point and communications platforms highly preferred.
- Must be able to travel 20% annually.

- Strong and deep Human Resources background in a fast-paced organization. Must display a sense of urgency when appropriate.
- Customer service approach to employees and team members (lead but roll up your sleeves).
- HR Leadership experience in at least one organization over 1,000 employees.
