Requirements

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • EHR (SmartCare) System Engineering and Support – 10+ years of experience and knowledge of enterprise health care systems design, configuration, and integrations. Responsibility for HIPAA compliance, architecture of EHR software system, and management of application support.
  • Business Application Engineering – 10+ years of experience and knowledge of enterprise business systems, such as HR, Payroll, and Financial. Responsibility for compliance, design, architecture, and management of application support.
  • Data Governance and Engineering – 5+ years of data governance experience and engineering of data pipelines for company information systems. Responsible for working with compliance department for developing data standards and governance of data within critical reporting systems and PHI data sources.
  • Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence – 5+ years of engineering and architecting data warehousing and business intelligence systems. Responsible for working with vendors and business peers in the design of warehouse and business intelligence systems, and ongoing support of new data sources, BI tools, and scorecard data.
  • Vendor Relationship Management – 10+ years of experience with managing vendors. Responsible for the performance of selected vendors supporting Bradford Health data and applications.
  • On-call Rotation – monthly rotation of remote on-call IT duties (1 week rotation each month) with IT department
  • Standard Operating Procedures – follow standard IT operating procedures to ensure systems sustainability and support; communicate procedure improvements to team and management when opportunities arise
  • Customer Service and Team Oriented – Provide a high-level of customer service to company as a whole and work within a virtual team

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Associate degree preferred; experience preferred
  • 10 years’ experience

PREFERRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION 

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, etc.
  • Proficiency in programming languages.
  • Experienced data engineers have a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes and data modelling.
