VetsEZ is seeking a remote ETL/Data Integration Developer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement data integration solutions, leveraging expertise in ETL processes and a strong understanding of data architecture, all within a collaborative Agile environment. The candidate must reside within the continental US. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data across diverse systems.Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and meet business objectives.Optimize data pipelines to ensure efficiency, scalability, and performance.Build data integration workflows using tools like Talend, Informatica, or Apache Nifi.Perform data validation, profiling, and cleansing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Implement best practices for data integration, security, and governance in compliance with federal guidelines.Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues while providing ongoing system support.Document data flows, processes, and technical specifications.Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience.3+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration projects.Proficiency in ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Apache Nifi.Expertise in SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).Familiarity with ETL patterns and data processing best practices.Experience with cloud-based data services like AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory.Strong problem-solving skills for debugging and optimizing complex workflows. Additional Qualifications: Experience in SAFe/Agile Software Development.Familiarity with VA environment is a plus.Ability to obtain a government clearance.Azure Certified Cloud Practitioner or any related certification.Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Java for data transformations.
