As a Clinical Enablement Associate at Virta, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our healthcare providers are compliant with all regulatory requirements, which is essential for delivering our innovative diabetes reversal program. You will collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to streamline processes and ensure compliance across all 50 states. Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, managing credentialing with health plans and licensing with states to maintain provider readiness.

  • Oversee the maintenance of internal data systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on provider credentials, licenses, and supervising provider documentation.  

  • Act as the primary contact for third-party vendors, ensuring timely submission and follow-up on compliance related tasks.

  • Initiate and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance in all clinical enablement activities.

  • Work closely with billing and legal teams to ensure proper credentialing and licensing for accurate billing and compliance. Facilitate smooth operational workflow between teams.

  • Leverage data-driven decision-making by monitoring and reporting on financial and operational KPIs. 

  • Participate in meetings, support high-priority projects, and collaborate with the clinical enablement team to achieve overall success.

90 Day Plan

Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Virta's compliance processes, including workflows, systems (CAQH, Medallion), and regulatory requirements.

  • Establish strong working relationships with health plans, third-party vendors (like Medallion), and internal teams such as billing, legal, and clinical enablement.

  • Assess current compliance processes, identify areas for improvement, and begin implementing enhancements to increase efficiency and compliance.

  • Familiarize yourself with all relevant data repositories and reporting tools, and start leveraging data to drive decision-making and process improvements.

  • Contribute to high-priority projects, ensuring timely execution and supporting the overall success of the clinical enablement team.

Must-Haves

  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with health plans, vendors, and internal teams.

  • Experience in healthcare operations

  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve processes.  

  • Flexibility in a high-speed environment, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement strategic solutions.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience in a telehealth or digital health company, understanding virtual healthcare dynamics

  • Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) to generate insights and drive process improvements.

  • Understanding of healthcare regulations related to credentialing, licensing, and compliance to enhance operational effectiveness.

As part of your duties at Virta, you may come in contact with sensitive patient information that is governed by HIPAA. Throughout your career at Virta, you will be expected to follow Virta's security and privacy procedures to ensure our patients' information remains strictly confidential. Security and privacy training will be provided.

Virta has a location based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
