Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Landscape Design Assistant to provide remote support for our landscape and exterior design business. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in AutoCAD drafting, project planning, and administrative tasks. This role requires excellent attention to detail, proficiency in design software, and the ability to manage social media accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Landscape Design:
- Develop AutoCAD drafts for irrigation plans, lighting plans, and site plans
- Create master plans for construction purposes
- Conduct material research for projects
- Prepare project information folders
Administrative Support:
- Manage email correspondence using Outlook and Gmail
- Handle data entry and maintain spreadsheets in Excel
- Ideally Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Organize and maintain digital files and documents
Social Media Management:
- Create and schedule content for social media platforms
- Engage with followers and respond to inquiries
- Monitor social media trends in the landscape design industry
Communication:
- Answer phone calls and participate in video calls with clients and team members
- Clearly communicate design concepts and project details in English
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Structure Studio
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with social media management
- Familiarity with Outlook, Gmail, Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in landscape design or related field
- Experience with irrigation and lighting plan development
- Knowledge of construction processes related to landscaping
- Quickbooks experience

- Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, or a related field

- Knowledge of plant materials, outdoor furniture, and construction materials
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design aesthetics
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in office administration and customer service is a plus
