Job Description

Visa’s Acceptance Solutions Professional Services (ASPS) solves problems and accelerates innovation and growth for clients by providing a range of product and technology services including consulting, enablement, integration, migration and optimization.

We are looking for a motivated self-started to join our team and support the Solution Consulting and Engineering leader across a range of strategy, operations, planning, analytics and insights activities.

The ideal candidate will have a good mix of business, functional and technical knowledge. This is an individual contributor role with global reach collaborating and supporting the consulting teams across all markets. The ideal candidate can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision, a fast learner, a highly effective communicator with strong ability to influence internal stakeholders on systems, solutions and processes.

Job Scope

  • Assist in scaling and building the solutions consulting team, developing consulting best practices, tooling and processes to deliver solutions and drive growth.
  • Collect and curate technical deliverables across client engagements and create re-usable templates and content.
  • Develop and maintain client case studies, customer references, technical content for internal and external meetings, QBRs.
  • Assist in development of solution templates and playbooks.
  • Assist in organization design, talent/skills management, training and capacity planning
  • Assist in building a strong performing team, manage team activities, ensuring organization wide compliance on trainings,  manage content and narratives for important internal meetings.
  • Collaborate with engagement management and operations teams to ensure alignment on pipeline priorities and manage pre-sales processes.
  • Build reports and dashboards for key team metrics.

Skills:

  • Experience in fields with client-facing, project or deliverables-based work such as management consulting, business / technical operations, sales operations, client services, finance, project management office, or related area.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, commercial, project management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  •  Effective communication and interpersonal skills and leadership skills  to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience and comfort in engaging with internal and client executive teams.
  • Ability to inspire and influence high performing cross-functional teams who envision and create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our global clients.
  • Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks, managing delivery from conception to execution
  • Highly proficient in Excel or similar spreadsheet software (complex formulas, pivots, modeling, etc.)
  • Advanced communications and storytelling skills, including using PowerPoint or similar software, to create and deliver presentations decks to senior executive audience
  • Experience in working with remote or geographically dispersed teams. 
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in digging into the detail, understanding data, making recommendations based on that data, and using it to solve problems.
  • Understanding of banking, payment card systems, payment methods and merchant acquiring is a plus.
  • Current knowledge of emerging payment trends, players, and competitive landscape is a plus.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
 

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,900.00 to 192,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
