Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Litigation Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Legal Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a meticulous eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for supporting attorneys in delivering justice and equitable work environments. Candidates should demonstrate a balance of empathy, strategic vision, adaptability, and a constant drive for learning and growth.
Primary Duties
Document Drafting:
- Prepare various types of legal correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, procedural motions, and proposed orders.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all legal documents.
Case Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal documents, correspondence, and research.
- Manage case-related deadlines, proactively ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Legal Research and Analysis:
- Conduct factual research and present findings in a coherent manner for attorney review.
Deposition and Trial Preparation:
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions and trials by organizing necessary documents and conducting preliminary research.
- Provide essential support, including gathering exhibits, organizing evidence, and drafting trial scripts.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with attorneys and paralegals to achieve collective goals and share information for seamless case management.
Court Filings:
- Prepare and file necessary documents with the court, adhering to all procedural requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a law firm.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and case management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office-based computer programs.
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
- Ability to make timely decisions in the face of obstacles.
- Focus on meeting demanding deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of court rules and filing procedures (including e-filing).
- High level of proficiency in English.

- Work Hours: Generally, MondayโThursday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. (CST)
- Location: Remote
- Compensation: Competitive compensation package based on experience, including bonuses tied to firm profitability, team performance, and individual case success.
