We are seeking a creative and versatile Instructional Designer for Customer Education to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about empowering users through education, possess a strong background in curriculum development, and have experience with customer education for enterprise SaaS. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a key role in designing engaging and effective learning experiences tailored to our diverse user base.

We've structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

- Reporting to the Curriculum Manager
As an Instructional Designer, you’ll:
- Design and develop engaging and interactive learning materials, including but not limited to online courses, tutorials, videos, text, and instructor-led training, to support Webflow user education initiatives.
- Utilize a variety of instructional design models, approaches, and tools, as well as best practices in creating engaging content from outside of instructional design, to create effective learning experiences. Incorporate multimedia elements, interactive exercises, and real-world scenarios to enhance the relevance and impact of learning materials.
- Optimize learning content for various platforms and devices.
- Make recommendations for tools and approaches to enhance the educational value of course materials or improve the efficiency of the production process.
- Collaborate closely with the Curriculum Manager, subject matter experts, product managers, and customer success teams to identify and understand Webflow user training needs and objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in instructional design and customer education to continuously improve and innovate our educational offerings.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About you
You’ll thrive as an Instructional Designer if you have:
- Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or related roles, preferably for enterprise SaaS.
- Strong creative and visual design skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging and visually appealing learning materials.
- Proficiency in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and educational technologies.
- Proficient with Webflow, or willing and able to become familiar with the technology.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and content authoring tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
