We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer to help us build the next generation of web design and development products used by the best brands in the world. You’ll drive discovery, research, and ideation, as well as partner closely with engineering and product management to plan and execute on exciting new product experiences in Webflow.
About the role

- The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different US geographic markets. The base pay for this role ranges from $168,000 in our lowest geographic market up to $237,000 in our highest geographic market. These figures are in $USD and apply to candidates in the United States. The specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
- Reporting to the Director of Product Design, Manage & Optimize
As a Staff Product Designer, you will:
- Define, design, and launch sophisticated software products in a new category that expands Webflow’s portfolio, by delivering an end-to-end experience of core features and product systems.
- Explore compelling, data-rich, and insights-driven experiences while applying strong foundations in information architecture and data visualization.
- Architect design strategies to enable users to understand and make informed decisions about design changes that results in better performance for their website.
- Build key partnerships and communicate cross functional design strategies and visions across multiple pillars.
- Continually elevate the craft of design at Webflow and be a thought leader for high impact design decisions, mentoring fellow designers.
In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, at Webflow we will support you in identifying where your interests and development opportunities lie and we'll help you incorporate them into your role.
About you
You’ll thrive as a Staff Product Designer if you:
- Genuinely energized by software products that enable creativity, ingenuity, and empowerment for professionals of all scales.
- Have previous experience with software that empowers professional or technical users in their respective industries.
- Familiarity with the web design industry, web standards, data visualizations, and accessibility.
- Have a bias towards action working on complex products at a high growth, scaling company.
- Aren’t afraid of sweating the details to ensure that the products that ship continuously exceed our customer’s expectations.
- Have demonstrated experience influencing and leading complex initiatives in a remote environment.
- Care about the impact a high quality software experiences, and are comfortable with the business strategy side of things that drive real tangible growth.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication design skills.
- Also possess any one of these qualities: a growth mindset, motivated to make things better, comfortable with ambiguity, a love of craft, and optimistic about the future.
