OVERVIEW
As a Video Quality Specialist (Video QC), you will be reviewing and troubleshooting video content of TV shows, movies and films, to ensure the quality of finished products released in target markets across the globe. The Video Quality Specialist will ensure that the content is properly aligned to the local culture, for one of the world's leading multimedia streaming platforms, ensuring they are free of errors.
\n- Troubleshoot video/system playback and technical issues found in digital video and audio.
- Identify trends to propose short and long-term solutions.
- Check content (video and audio), and assess correct use of the locale/language.
- Keep up-to-date in TV shows / movies / media from your home country.
- Track record of responding quickly and decisively to issues.
- Ensure verbal and written communication with the other team members.
- Bilingual or near native level of German from Germany
- 2-4 years experience working with digital video or multimedia content.
- 1+ years experience in video editing / troubleshooting or technical video roles
- Passion for digital video and knowledge of the film and TV industry.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good knowledge of Mac OS systems
- Willingness to work in a high volume, fast-paced, and changing environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of subscription video content services and familiarity of their product offerings.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Multilingual is a plus, but not key.
SCHEDULE
Working days:
- Tuesday to Saturday: 9:00 AM - 17:30 PM
- Sunday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 17:30 PM.
