MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB


The People Success Assistant (HR Assistant) is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with HR Leads in supporting designated geographic region(s). This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.


MAIN DUTIES


The major areas of focus for this role are as follows:


- Administer benefit processes.

- Conduct new employee on-boarding.

- Respond to employee inquiries in our ticketing system (Zendesk)

- Assist with relocation actions.

- Support administration and completion of immigration processes.

- Ensure Human Resources policies and procedures are adhered to.

- Support & oversee HR administration including employment contracts, addendums, terminations & maintaining complete employee files/records.

- Assist the HR Lead with ER cases including grievances, dignity at work, PIP’s, terminations, and disciplinary cases in a timely manner.

- Assist managers with annual performance review process.

- Keep abreast of HR related legislation to maintain legal HR compliance for the company.

- Maintaining department records and reports through Workday.

- Assist in the delivery of HR projects as required.

- Leave of absence tracking


REQUIREMENTS


Education

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or training; or experience supporting HR.


Experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- 1-2 year of experience in HR admin roles.

- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

- Workday experience is desirable

- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.

- Ability to work with general instruction.

- Ability to resolve general problems making decisions based on established criteria.
