OVERVIEW
The Junior Localization Project Manager works alongside our localization teams for end-to-end for product launches, marketing campaigns, CRM, e-mails, and web content, oversee localization and QA workflow, and make sure everything is delivered on time and with high quality, including managing project queries.
\n- You will work within the Agile sprint methodology to support continuous delivery of localisation projects. You will be a point of contact for the many cross-functional stakeholders who require localization services.
- Process, oversee and deliver assigned translation requests. This involves preparing files for translation, uploading/downloading to/from the translation management system, preparing instructions, determining timelines, answering questions from vendors/the team/cross-functional partners, managing JIRA tickets in the teamโs sprint.
- Coordinate with localization vendors and with the Content Localization team to ensure project delivery to specifications.
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to deliver assigned projects.
- Work within the SCRUM framework.
- Participate in project retrospectives and sprint ceremonies, either with the team or with our cross-functional partners.
- Knowledge of the localization/translation industry and localisation tools such as a translation management platform (Smartling a plus).
- At least 1 year experience in the localization and/or project management fields.
- Experience with the Scrum/Agile framework is not essential but is a bonus.
- Ideally, fluency in languages other than English (especially Italian and/or Portuguese). Linguistic/translation experience a bonus.
