The Role
Our Content Marketing Team at Wpromote is looking to add a strategic Content Marketing Manager to help support clients by bringing their wealth of knowledge in all aspects of content marketing to the table. In this role, you will be owning client relationships and providing them with innovative solutions for their content marketing needs. You will also need to collaborate with internal team members in both the paid and organic media spaces to ensure holistic performance marketing campaign results are achieved. This role is not a social media or copywriting role; however, someone with experience in those fields looking for a new role in content marketing are welcome to apply.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $60,000 - $75,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

\n- Developing & overseeing content strategy and execution for clients
- Assessing overall content performance and identifying current gaps
- Tailoring brand positioning and onsite messaging for target audiences
- Leveraging data to inform and set content/campaign calendars
- Reporting on campaign performance toward goals and KPI’s
- Ideating Content initiatives and overseeing content development
- Analyzing current trends, keywords and competitor data
- Utilizing software to pull key data points to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborating with SEO teams to ensure content follows best practices for maximum potential organic reach
- Managing multiple project timelines and deadlines with client(s) and internal stakeholders
- Consulting on potential content formats to maximize onsite/cross-channel effectiveness
- Developing Integrated Marketing Strategies
- Coordinating with relevant/available internal and client-side channels
- Consulting on paid media promotion tactics and platforms to drive higher campaign efficiency
- Identifying sales opportunities for new channel services or existing service upsells
- 2-3 years of experience with Content Marketing or SEO experience within an agency or in-house environment
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- General knowledge of digital marketing (i.e. SEO, Email, Paid Search, Paid Social) and industry trends
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Familiarity with G Suite (or similar collaboration tools)
- Experience with one or more of the following: Google Analytics, Asana(or similar project management tools), Semrush (or similar keyword research platform)
- Ability to manage multiple clients or campaigns simultaneously
- An innovative attitude that is quick to adapt to new situations and find effective solutions to challenges
- Passion for the always evolving digital landscape
- Experience working with creative teams on the development of supporting campaign assets
- Content experience outside of written copy (i.e, interactive content, eBooks, web development)
- Writing or editing copy
- Working on or with an integrated team
- Launching and maintaining a cross-channel campaign
