The Role:


Come join the Marketing team at Wpromote as the Senior Director of Demand Generation. Reporting to the CMO, this role will drive demand generation and ABM strategies to boost our pipeline, new customer acquisition, and expansion opportunities for one of the largest independent advertising agencies. You’ll lead a high-performing team, own pipeline targets, manage digital channels, and manage outreach campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in running successful B2B digital marketing and lead generation campaigns and driving immediate impact in a fast-growing setting.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $154,000 - $195,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).


*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

**While this position is remote-friendly, preference will be given to candidates based in Los Angeles and Chicago

You Will Be
  • Developing a comprehensive demand gen strategy aligned with Wpromote’s business objectives and growth plans.
  • Driving demand generation initiatives to generate qualified leads and achieve revenue targets, leveraging various marketing channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, website, and partnerships.
  • Designing and driving outbound ABM campaigns 
  • Owning the pipeline targets, collaborating with the marketing team to define growth plans, channel strategies, and analytics to drive new leads and expansion opportunities.
  • Utilizing data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, maximize ROI, and continuously improve marketing performance.
  • Cultivating a culture of continuous testing and optimization to improve channel performance and ROI.

Team Leadership and Development:
  • Building, leading, and inspiring a high-performing marketing team focused on client acquisition and retention.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the marketing department.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Fostering alignment with sales, client success, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on go-to-market strategies.
  • Providing marketing support for capabilities launches and other key initiatives.

Metrics and Reporting:
  • Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to marketing efforts.
  • Providing regular reports and insights to the executive team, demonstrating the impact of marketing efforts on overall business goals.

Organizational Initiatives:
  • Collaborating with the CMO to come up with a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Wpromote’s business objectives and growth plans.


You Must Have
  • 7-10 years of demonstrated success in developing and executing digital marketing and lead generation campaigns
  • Proven experience as a marketing leader with a track record of contributing to the growth and success of the company; advertising, ad tech or mar tech preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in building and managing remote high-performance teams
  • Experience with CRM (ie Salesforce), marketing attribution (ie, Pardot, Marketo), intent tools (ie, Demand Base, 6Sense) and other tools
  • Strong experience in branding, positioning, and marketing messaging
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus
