We are looking for a DEVOPS / SRE that would like to build high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications in Yuno.
At Yuno we are looking to solve the complexity of the online payments ecosystem. Allowing merchants and commerce to accept payments in an easy way, accessing a variety of payment services with just one integration and enabling end users to pay in an easy and secure way.
π£ What would be my challenge at Yuno?
- To improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions.
- To measure system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs.
- To provide primary operational support and engineering.
- To research, deploy, maintain and fix infrastructure across all Yuno environments.
- Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
- Partner with development teams to improve services through observability.
- Facilitate incidents, run blameless postmortems and complete root cause analysis investigations.
- Bring ideas to solve problems: any idea is better than none.
π£ What skills do I need?
- 3+ years of experience working as SysAdmin, Devops, SRE, etc.
- Fluency in handling any Linux distribution (RHEL based, Debian based, etc.)
- Experience working with Terraform (writing custom modules, managing upgrades, working with AWS providers).
- Deep K8S knowledge and experience: networking (both horizontal and vertical traffic management), security constraints, Helm, Operators, etc.
- Solid experience working with Amazon Web Services (EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, Cloudfront, etc.)
- Experience with the automation engines like Ansible.
- Familiarity with security best practices in regards to servers or containers.
- Troubleshooting, bug scoping, and good problem-solving skills. Thinking outside the box is what we are looking for.
- Ability and confidence to work autonomously.
- Good coding skills: python, golang, node, java, whatever you want.
- Nice to have: Istio experience.
