Zap is looking for an Account Manager who can build bridges, strengthen bonds, and drive growth. You'll be friendly, outgoing and analytical, acting as the point of contact between Zap and key clients. This role involves managing long-term relationships, growing accounts by identifying upsell opportunities, and engaging internal teams to ensure our clients have the best service possible. You'll become the eyes and ears of both our clients, and our team, and your birds-eye view of all-things Zap will drive growth and help our teams deliver better services.

What you’ll be up to:
- Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, understanding their goals and challenges.
- Client Strategy: Work with your clients to understand their vision and build strategies to help them succeed.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly and effectively.
- Coordination: Act as the main point of contact between clients and Zap, engaging the necessary internal teams where appropriate and ensuring communication in both directions is open and transparent.
- Account Growth: Analyse account performance, identify upsell opportunities, and work to grow accounts each year.
- Industry Expert: Learn all about Zap and stay up-to-date on the latest changes in both our business and the wider industry.
What we’re looking for:
We’re after someone who’s ready to jump in headfirst and get their hands dirty. Experience is great, but attitude is everything. Here’s what we’re keen on:
- At least three years experience in a strategic, client-facing role.
- Ability to identify and deliver upsell opportunties.
- A strategic thinker who can understand long term goals and devise plans to help Zap achieve them.
- Proven experience of managing long-term, professional relationships.
- A self-starter with exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple clients.
- A willingness to learn all about Zap products and services as well as other complex industry topics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven experience of presenting complex topics to uninformed audiences.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Pipedrive and WordPress is a plus.
- Company Bonus 10% of salary once company goals are met or at the company’s discretion
- Service Bonus of £1,000 per annum paid into your monthly salary up to 5 years / £5,000
- We operate on a flexible hours system. That means that while your usual hours will be during normal business hours, you have plenty of flexibility within that. Want to take a long lunch break? No worries. Do your best work at 6 am? Go for it.
- We’re a fully remote team, so no 8 am commutes into work
