Hi there!
We're looking for an experienced, customer-obsessed Sr. Product Marketer to join our rapidly growing product marketing team.
In this role, you’ll support the Senior Manager of Product Marketing in research and analysis to align stakeholders on market opportunities and drive the go-to-market strategy for our products, especially among key expansion markets.
If you want to advance your career at a fast-growing, profitable, impact-driven company, read on…
About You:
You're an expert in go-to-market strategy and execution. You have 3+ years of product marketing experience—most recently in B2B SaaS—and a track record of launching and scaling products through sharp go-to-market planning. You're skilled in defining product positioning and messaging to drive adoption. You know how to use data to build a case for your strategies and to measure the success of your programs.
You're a launch master. You've successfully planned and executed multiple product launches, working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to bring new features and products to market. You know how to build excitement, connect to customer needs, enable sales teams, and measure the impact of your launches. You pride yourself on on-time launches.
You're the glue between teams. You have a natural talent for keeping teammates in different disciplines in-sync, and helping them move towards the same goal. You actively communicate insights, strategy, frameworks and project approaches between product and go-to-market teams, zeroing in on the aspects that have the biggest impact on their work. You build partnerships that achieve exceptional results.
You're customer-obsessed. You regularly participate in user research, analyze product usage data, and gather insights from sales and support teams to understand customer needs. You use those insights to inform product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
You keep an eye on the competition. You have experience building and managing competitive intelligence programs, and know how to position products to win against key competitors. You're skilled at creating battle cards, sales training, and other assets to help sales teams effectively differentiate in competitive situations.
Things You’ll Do:
Go-to-market strategy: Own the go-to-market strategy for key product initiatives, with a specific focus on our core Workflows product and the upmarket audience. Define and execute competitive positioning and campaigns to differentiate Zapier's products in the market. Partner with product teams to develop strategic recommendations based on user research, competitive insights, and market analysis.
Product launches: Manage our drumbeat of feature and product launches, working cross-functionally to align teams on messaging, timing, tactics, and goals. Plan and execute 1-2 major launch moments per year focused on driving adoption. Enable teams to effectively sell and support new products.
Strategic insights: Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional partners, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform product roadmaps, marketing strategies, and sales approaches. Conduct regular market research and user interviews to deeply understand our customers' needs, pain points, and decision-making processes. Proactively share learnings and best practices across the organization to drive alignment and optimize our go-to-market efforts.
Enablement: Be the central nervous system that transforms insights into action. Teach customer-facing teams about product positioning, key use cases, and competitive differentiation. Gather feedback from across our organization on common customer questions, objections, and competitive situations to inform programs. Create and maintain competitive battle cards and other collateral to drive deal velocity and win rates.
How to Apply
At Zapier, we believe that diverse perspectives and experiences make us better, which is why we have a non-standard application process designed to promote inclusion and equity. We're looking for the best fit for each of our roles, regardless of the type of education or companies in your background, so we encourage you to apply even if your skills and experiences don’t exactly match the job description. This helps speed things up by letting us get to know you and your skillset a bit better right out of the gate. Please be sure to answer each question; the resume and CV fields are optional.
After you apply, you are going to hear back from us—even if we don’t see an immediate fit with our team. In fact, throughout the process, we strive to never go more than seven days without letting you know the status of your application. We know we’ll make mistakes from time to time, so if you ever have questions about where you stand or about the process, just ask your recruiter!
