Job Description: The Senior Manager of HR will be a key leader responsible for overseeing key aspects of human resources within the organization. This role will focus on talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HR processes and a strategic approach to aligning HR practices with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Talent Management & Acquisition
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent management strategies, including pay band analysis and sourcing of top talent
- Manage the recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to negotiating offers, partnering closely with hiring managers
- Oversee headcount planning that alignment with department needs and budgets
- Own the pay band analysis, ensuring fair and competitive compensation practices
- Lead the onboarding process to ensure a smooth integration of new hires into the company culture
Compensation & Benefits
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with benefit providers to deliver employee benefits in a timely manner
- Lead performance management efforts, setting guidelines and processes to support employee growth and development
- Oversee employee insurance, compliance, and ensure alignment with state and federal requirements
Employee Relations
- Address employee issues, providing tactical support as needed to ensure a positive work environment
- Handle the creation and distribution of bonus letters, ensuring clarity and transparency
- Lead Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), severance, and termination processes
- Mediate conflicts between managers and team members, ensuring fair and constructive resolutions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in HR leadership, particularly in a generalist or director-level role
- SHRM or PHR certification strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of talent management, compensation structures, and benefits administration
- Proficiency in payroll and HR management systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues
- Strong business acumen, exceptional project management and organizational skills, and proven ability to influence, negotiate, and facilitate with keen attention to detail and a high sense of urgency
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance across all HR practices
- Travel up to 5%

Pay Disclosure: In the states of CA, CO, CT, NV, NY, RI, WA, the salary range for this role is $90,000 - $134,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience
