Our teams collaborate to identify solutions using competitor and industry trend analysis, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making. We're responsible for facilitating smooth transitions during organizational change efforts that promote employee adoption. You'll help solve challenges faced by our teams to help make Zscaler more efficient in meeting our customers' needs.
We are hiring a Principal Data Analyst, Business Intelligence to join the Customer Success Strategy & Operations team. You will develop our data and analytics assets, improve standard and streamlined processes, manage projects and task prioritization/workload, and facilitate the analysis of data with company decision makers to help develop business strategies. Reporting to the Director, Business Intelligence you will:
- Manage daily team operations, focusing on support required to enhance performance and project delivery
- Promote the transformation towards a data-driven culture, enhancing data capabilities, and ensuring delivery of insights and actions.
- Collaborate with business leaders to define requirements for technology and reporting solutions that help achieve results.
- Partner with change management and support resources to promote adoption of new BI solutions, presenting data and recommendations to enhance decision-making.
- Operationalize insights through the development of user-friendly dashboards, tools, and processes.
- Deliver concise and practical recommendations.
- Coordinate multiple tasks and achieve deadlines while maintaining productivity.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, data science, or related role
- Proficiency with Tableau
- Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts, SQL and Cloud platform technologies
- Experience communicating (verbal, written, technical) and presenting to motivate and influence partners, both internal and external to the team
- Data governance best practices experience.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with more than one business intelligence tool (Domo, PowerBI, Qlik, Spotfire, Looker)
