Scope of the role:
The Backend Developer will serve as a core team member responsible for developing and maintaining the backend systems that power our healthcare SaaS platform. The role focuses on building high-performance APIs, ensuring platform security and compliance, and delivering scalable solutions critical for handling sensitive healthcare data.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize server-side logic using NodeJS and Express to support high-performance applications.
- Design and implement robust data models and seamless API integrations, collaborating closely with the front-end team.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks proactively.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance with healthcare data regulations.
- Build scalable, well-documented solutions that align with platform growth and evolving needs.
- C1 English level, with excellent verbal and written communication skills (Must Have)
- Proficient in NodeJS, Express, and RESTful API design principles. (Must Have)
- Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL database systems, including the ability to write efficient queries.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and container-based deployments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive data, ensuring strict compliance with industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to preventing issues before they arise.
- Prior experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is beneficial but not mandatory.
