We are looking for a tech-savvy Turkish Translator/Editor to join the Marketing Department. You will translate all types of content, including marketing (landing pages, emails, articles, creatives) and technical (guides, how-tos, technical specifications) materials. This position isn’t just about translating ‘from … into…’ but also precision, consistency, and development of international relations through language. There is a two-month probation period during which the candidate will receive detailed feedback and evaluation of their work.
\n- Translation: Accurately translate technical and marketing texts from English into Turkish, ensuring linguistic and contextual precision.
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and refine your own translations to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Outsourced Translation Editing: Edit and improve translations completed by external resources, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Style Guide and Glossary Management: Create, update, and manage style guides, glossaries, and termbases to ensure consistency across all translations.
- Peer Review: Conduct peer reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure the quality of translations within the team.
- Turkish: Native-level fluency (C2), with an impeccable command of the language.
- English: Advanced fluency (C1) with excellent writing and verbal communication skills.A degree from a reputable university, preferably in translation or a related field.
- Ability to work remotely with a strong emphasis on attentiveness, promptness, and reliability.
- Adaptability to varying workloads, with the ability to manage increased demands during peak periods.
- Demonstrated experience in written translation.
- Experience translating technical documents with accuracy and clarity. Ability to efficiently process and manage large volumes of information.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high-quality and error-free translations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating smooth collaboration.
