SUMMARY: Manage and guide important core Accounting functions for our dealer owned warranty company (DOWC) program. Coordinate the preparation and delivery of the business results related to the DOWC participation program administered by Asset Protection Division. Provides leadership to the professional team responsible for preparation of the DOWC financial reporting.
\n- Partner as a primary contact with our Distribution team, agents, and dealers to coordinate requests and or questions as they relate to monthly financial reporting of our DOWC program
- Coordinate and lead all functions of DOWC monthly Accounting processes
- Lead the preparation of the monthly financial statements for the DOWCs
- Provides leadership by setting priorities and allocating resources for the DOWC Accounting staff
- Provide leadership and guidance on the communication and delivery of relevant data and reporting to the CPAs of the respective DOWCs
- Oversee and manage the compilation of the monthly entries related to DOWC financial reporting
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelors Accounting Degree required
- CPA desired
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience desired
- Relevant industry experience preferred
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills.
- Self-motivated with strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work cross functionally with other departments
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Protective’s targeted salary range for this position is $65,000 to $100,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective’s total compensation package for employees.
This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
