Summary of Role & Key Responsibilities
Our ESG Program Design and Implementation team specializes in providing strategic program design and implementation services, including materiality assessments, strategy development, program management and regulatory compliance. Over the past two years, the team has seen a significant increase in demand for support with regulated mandatory disclosures (including CSRD, ISSB, and others), regulatory advisory, and compliance readiness services. Our team is closely connected to our reporting and disclosures team.

- Support project and client managers in conducting primary and secondary research and analysis on sustainability leadership practices, and emerging issues and trends in a variety of industry sectors utilizing a wide range of sources, including web searches, interviews and other methodologies
- Work with clients to prioritize, evaluate and improve their ESG performance through strategic, programmatic and disclosure recommendations
- Own outcomes and deliver on time and within budget and assist project managers to ensure that projects perform against targets and deadlines
- Support senior colleagues in the development of work plans, schedules and budgets for the delivery of client projects and business development proposals
- Draft reports and presentations that convey key messages to a variety of stakeholders and inform strategic decision-making
- Work on several projects at the same time, often with different clients on multiple workstreams
- Collaborate with global Anthesis sustainability experts and technical consultants to deliver great project outcomes
- Stay informed of the ever-changing regulatory landscape, and providing technical consulting advice on such changes for clients and internal teams
Key Requirements & Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (sustainability, sustainable business, environmental management or environmental science, policy etc.) and two+ years’ experience supporting ESG program design and implementation work, either in a consultancy or in an in-house role
- A passion for sustainability and an interest in being at the forefront of sustainability
- Experience working with data sets and demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret and communicate findings
- Effective time management and organisational skills (organised, methodical, and analytical)
- Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to the dynamic, fast moving ESG and sustainability reporting space
- Ability to think and work independently, while also being an enthusiastic and proactive team player
- Well-presented with a professional manner to act as a brand ambassador
- Proactivity, initiative, and an interest in a working on a range of different project types and client sectors
