Job Description
Brightspeed is a communications, hosting, cloud and IT services company enabling millions of customers to transform their businesses and their lives through innovative technology solutions. Brightspeed provides broadband, voice, data and managed services including managed security, SD-WAN, managed Wi-Fi/router and cloud access. We are looking for a driven, creative and energetic Offer Management Analyst to join our team.
As an Offer Management Analyst, you will be responsible for various business functions such as sales opportunity review, strategy development, profitability analysis, contract negotiation, and telecom service. You will have experience and knowledge of contract negotiations, contract language creation, project management, custom offer construction, sales processes, along with team leadership and coaching. You are detail-oriented, a skilled negotiator, excellent communicator, a strong coach and leader, and has the desire to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment in support of the sales cycle.
As an Offer Management Analyst, you will have the following duties:
- Review financial data as related to various requests for special pricing and identifies risks associated with legal terms, product descriptions, and price concessions
- Maintain records supporting all business cases
- Use keen business judgment and financial knowledge to defend and debate recommendations
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations
- Key Working Relationships with Direct Sales, Senior Executives, Legal, Product Management, Regulatory, Billing, and Network Engineering
- Support multiple sales teams with special pricing requests and negotiates large contracts with customers
- Provide sales teams with guidance on pricing, pricing structure and strategy
- Provide support to the legal group on terms & conditions in custom contracts
- Assist back-office personnel in resolving implementation issues, billing issues, and technical issues
- Ensure team productivity is meeting targets and be accountable for results
Qualifications
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ year’s professional work experience
- Prior offer management or pricing experience
- Experience in customer negotiations, business development, pricing and contract drafting or equivalent
- Excellent verbal, written, project management and presentation skills
- Ability to summarize key issues to management
- A collaborator with excellent people skills
- Computer skills: strong skills on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written
- Must be able to communicate effectively with sales personnel and customers in person and on conference calls
- Knowledge of the competitive Telecommunications and Hosting/IT Outsourcing industry
