Introduction: Brillio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Policy Lead to join our team. This pivotal role will focus on developing and implementing custom Azure policies that align with our stringent security requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of crafting and managing Azure policies, demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust Azure policies to enforce security and compliance standards across our cloud infrastructure.
- Analyze and interpret security requirements to develop effective policy definitions that mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with the security and cloud engineering teams to identify policy needs, develop solutions, and integrate security controls.
- Conduct thorough testing of Azure policies to ensure they function as intended and do not disrupt operational workflows.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Azure security capabilities, policy services, and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on Azure policy creation and management.
- Continuously monitor and refine policies to adapt to evolving security landscapes and business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, specifically with extensive experience in writing and managing Azure custom policies.
- Proficient in Azure Policy and Azure Governance constructs.
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex security challenges.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar.
- Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, CLI, or other relevant tools.
- Leadership experience or the ability to manage cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
